He is survived by: his spouse Betty Jo Shanks; his son Sammy; his spouse Betty Jo Shute; his son Jim (Brenda); his grandchildren, Laura Shute of Dallas and Molly Powell of Dallas; his daughter-in-law Diana Shute; his nieces, Jenny Pleasant (Bill) of Pearl, MS, Georgia Williams (Hal) of Greenwood, MS, Diane Shute, Judy Bair of Hood River, Beverly Simpkins (Leon) of Tallahassee and Barbara Wimberly of Brevard; and his nephew Bob Lundy (Kim) of Flora.
