Marjorie Rossie Turk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Rossie Turk of Madison, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Barnes; her former husband Emmett A. Rossie of Shaw, MS.; her husband Norman Turk, Jr.; her sons, Emmett "Rusty" Rossie and Richard "Ricky" Rossie; and her siblings, Tommy Barnes, Roy Barnes, Barbara George and Shirley Hoffman.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Dyer, Gail Dickinson of Madison, MS and Paul Rossie (M'Lou) of Winter Park; her daughters-in-law, Karen Rossie (Ricky) of Madison, MS and Martha Rossie (Rusty) of Lakeland, TN; her stepchildren, Debbie Turk, Peggy Boyer (Rick) of Tucson, AZ, JoAnne Bell (James) of Crystal Springs, MS, Norman Turk (Kelly) of Pensacola, FL, Tommy Turk (Ann) of Madison, MS, Rosemary Stege (Larry) of Brandon, MS and Jimmy Turk of New York City; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Barnes of Memphis, TN and Judy Barnes of Fairhope, AL.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
