She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Rouse and Bonnie Rouse; her son Dr. James Salter, Jr.; her siblings, H. K. Rouse and Betty; and her brother-in-law Bob Burge.
She is survived by: her husband James; her daughter Jan Gilbert (Roger); her grandchildren, Lindsey Watkins (Will) and John Gilbert (Alaina); her great grandchildren, Avie Grace Watkins and Wyatt James Gilbert; her brother Clayton Rouse (Shirlene); and her sister-in-law Nell Rouse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family also requests that any memorials be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church, Hope Hollow Ministries, or The Mustard Seed Inc.
