She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde B. Kyle, Sr. and Maudie Anne Malone Kyle; her husband Clyde L. Shelton; her stepmother Nell Kyle; her brothers, Wayne and Russel Kyle; and her siblings-in-law, Charles, Bob Shelton, Robert Edd Ashcraft, Arnold Rushing, Tiny Shelton and Anne S. Ashcraft.

She is survived by: her children, Becky S. Purvis (Lanny) of Madison and Terry Shelton (Sherry) of Springhill, LA; her siblings, Linda Slaughter (Arville) of Fort Worth, TX and Benny (Linda) of Columbus, MS; her siblings-in-law, Sarah Coehler of Columbus, MS, Ruth Rushing of Columbus, MS, Larry Shelton (Bonita) of Altus, OK and Charlotte of Burnet, TX; her grandchildren, Christopher Boothe (Mallori), Matthew Boothe (Yancy Beth), Chase Boothe (Emily), Mark Purvis (Hani), Gracanne Story (Curt) and Terry Wayne Shelton, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Selby, Oliver, Caleb, Hannah, Lucy Boothe, Reed, Aiden Story, Brook Owen (Gage), Cameron, Asher and Dixie Grace Shelton; and her great great grandchild Creed Owen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
