He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McAdory and Johnnie Ruth Hatcher McAdory; his sister Debbie Simpson; and his nephew Jason Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Burdine (Joey), Dana Sullivan (Danny) of Louisville, Adam McAdory (Jennifer) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Thruett Kirk of Louisville; his grandchildren, Joshua Kemp, Hailey Kemp, Breland Burdine, Isaac Burdine, Tyson Burdine, Kinzi Burdine, John Patrick McAdory, Nick Sullivan, Wade Sullivan, Karlee Sullivan, Hinsleigh Sullivan, Jazlynn Kirk, Harley Kirk and Layla Kirk; his sisters, Lynn McAdory Smith Seward (Jeff) of Philadelphia, Mississippi and Janet McAdory Bradeen (John) of Louisville; and his brother-in-law Steve Simpson of Louisville. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
