She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Ethel Goss-Ashford; her father-in-law Eugene Roussell Jr.; and her brother-in-law Aubrey Hunter Sr. (Rosalyn). She is survived by: her father Freddie D. Ashford (Gloria) of Louisville, MS.; her husband Eugene Roussell; her brother Thomas Ashford (Courtney); her nephew Rameses (Diana); her nieces, Makeda Ashford and Isis A. Swain (Kehlin); her mothers-in-law, Mildred Roussell and Elizabeth Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Calvin Roussell (Verenia), Yolanda Roussell, Rosalyn R. Hunter, Carolyn R. Quinn (Wayne) and Patrease R. Canty (Don). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
