He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evangelist Hemphill and Allie Trotter Hemphill Gary; his stepparent Taylor Gary; his daughter Yolanda Hemphill of Houston, TX.; his siblings, Dr. Jessie Campbell (Clifton) of Tullahoma, TN. and Karl Gary of Kilmichael, MS.; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys Haynes of Louisville, MS. and Mary B. Gary of Chicago, IL.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
