He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Flake; his parents, Penny Flake and Elisha Flake; his son Jimmy Flake; his siblings, Claudia Smith, Cordie Boon, Peggy Cox, Seretia Nowell, Billy Flake, Bobby Flake and Edward Flake; and his grandchildren, Delanna Parker and Crystal Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paulette Bailey of Virginia, Cynthia Creekmore of Noxapater and Alisa Duncan (Dennis) of Louisville; his daughter-in-law Sandy Flake; his sons, Timmy Flake (Shari) of Louisville, Gary Willis of Texas and Mark Pope (Kathy) of Genoa, IL; and his sister Betty Miles of Meridian, MS. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
