He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Curtis and Ollie Mae Warner Estes; and his siblings, Jimmy Estes, Gilbert Estes and Eloise Estes.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Miles Estes of Louisville; his daughters, Beth Lipscomb (Larry) of Ellijay, Georgia and Brigitte Cooper (Thomas); his stepson Keith Alexander of Louisville; his brother Jerry Estes (Nadine) of Noxapater; his mother-in-law Wynell Miles of Louisville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Chandler (Josh), Candice Cefalu (Bubba), Kim Doolittle (Todd), Taylor Hamilton (Ethan) and Lane Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Ava Perez, Lily Perez, Cooper Cefalu, Layla Cefalu, Lynnlee Cefalu, Neely Doolittle, Camryn Doolittle and Lillie Ruth Hamilton.
