She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby T. Benton; her brothers, Paul Winston Carter and Louis Clifford Carter; her parents, Lonnie Carter and Janie Mae Whigham Carter; her niece Deborah Carter; and her nephew Paul Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Benton (Michelle) and Wayde Benton (Tracy); her grandchildren, Marlana Benton (Micah Lochner), Kaitlyn Parkinson (Roy "Tripp") and Cameron Benton; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Lochner, Slade Lochner, Dru Parkinson, Kash Parkinson and Duke Parkinson; her nieces and nephews, Camille Davis, Julia Ann Letchworth, Becky Benton, Renee Montanaro, Bobby Benton (Millie) and Wes Benton (Ellen); and her friend Tammie Bentz.
