He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Inez Smith; his parents, Homer Rose and Inez Rose of Gulfport; his children, Larry Smith (Raylene), Timothy Smith, Donota O'Connell and Tracie Smith; his grandchildren, Lauren Saegert (Jeffery), Lydia Gordon (Jayson), Corey Smith (Courtney) and Emily O'Connell; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Jackson, Declan, Carter and Cambreigh. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
