She was predeceased by: her former husband Neil Rothe; her parents-in-law, Bobby Joe and Jean Rothe; and her grandparents, Ralph J. and Mildred Gerken.

She is survived by: her mother Lorelei Jill Smith; her children, Leah Rothe (Robert Pfeffer) and Kevin Rothe (Elizabeth); her brothers, John Smith, Michael Smith and Richard Smith (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Danica Pfeffer, Brody Rothe and Colton Rothe.
