She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Shellie" Thornton and Myrtle Pearl Milligan Thornton, Sr.; her husband George Tumlin, III; her daughter India Tumlin Pique; her son-in-law Michael Sheffield; and her siblings, Elouise Fleming, Shirley Ann Carper, Eugene Thornton of Robert Thornton, J. T, Harold "Preacher" Thornton and Richard Shellie "Bosey" Thornton, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Sheffield of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Amanda Levens (Jay) of Long Beach, MS, Christina Clay (Gary) of Mobile, AL, Michael Sheffield (Kristy) of D'Iberville, MS, Steven Pique (Jennifer) of Las Vegas, NV and Kelli Pique of Long Beach, MS; her great grandchildren, Macie Buza, Ava Levens, Gavin Clay, Carter Pique, Jake Pique, Julia Sheffield and Everett Sheffield; and her siblings, Sarah Golden of Spring, TX, Jewel Dunnigan (Bob) of Florahome, FL, Loretta Blocker (Will) of Mooresville, NC, Bonnie Dubberly (Bud) of Winston, GA and Wayne Thornton (Bobbie) of Jacksonville, FL.. She is also survived by Her children and grandchildren.
