It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Talmadge Blalock of Liberty, Mississippi, born in Centreville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Blalock and Dorothy Blalock; his brothers, Edward Blalock, Billy Abel, Bob Abel, Merlin Abel, Thomas Blalock and Timothy Blalock; and his grandson Christopher Blalock.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Blalock; his children, Talmadge D. Blalock, Jr. (Allison Blalock), Samuel D. Blalock (Kristine Blalock), Dorri Blalock, Crystal Rush (Tommy Rush), Wendy Temple, Mary Blalock and Sara Parkman; his siblings, George Blalock, Elsie Blake, Janet Devereaux and Shirley Payne; and his sister-in-law Elmese Blalock. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if God touches your heart to help someone, whether they be a friend or a stranger, do what you can.
