He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Willie Haygood and Nettie Mae "Mamie" Sanders Haygood; his wife Corene Creel Haygood; his children, Lori Boykin (Kenny), Kelli Fleniken (Kyle) and Greg Haygood (Jessica); his grandchildren, Steven Boykin, Audrey Boykin, Justin Boykin, Cody Jenkins, Karleigh Jenkins, Maci Haygood and Hunter Haygood; his great grandchild Alyssa Boykin; and his brothers, Bobby Haygood (Betty) and Billy Haygood (Billie Gail). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
