She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge LeBlanc and Magdalene Sibley LeBlanc; and her siblings, Jeannette Pardue, Alfred Leblanc and Philip LeBlanc.

She is survived by: her husband Barney Barrett; her daughters, Pam Barrett and Kim Pitre; her grandchildren, Kathryn "Lizzy" Barrett, Edward Barrett, Derek Comeaux and Coryn Butter; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Aaliyah, Anna, Huntyr, Koltyn and Emmi; and her sister Dorothy Ory. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
