She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Bordelon and Doris Kirkland Bordelon; her stepson Matthew Shelton; and her brothers, Mark Bordelon and Wayne Bordelon.
She is survived by: her husband Noah Shelton; her daughters, Michelle Compise (Chris), Cynthia Griffin (Tony) and Linda Shelton; her stepdaughter Rebecca Shelton; and her sisters, Barbara McNemar and Linda Odendahl. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
