He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Floyd and Dorothy Weems; his son Danny Michael Weems; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Weems; his daughters, Delwin Wohlscheid (Erick) and Nicki Berry (Stephen); his nieces, Cisly Boykin (Brance) and Christa Soldevilla (John); his grandchildren, Dalton Ricketson, Dayton Ricketson, Daniel Berry and Mallory Berry; his great-nieces, Ivey Bruntlett and Aria Soldevilla; his great-nephew Brynn Boykin; his siblings, Loletta Boutwell (Wayne), Rosetta Walton (LeRoy) and Buddy Weems (Angelia); and his grandson Brynn Boykin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
