He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walter Shaw and Myrtle Lucille Shook Shaw; and his siblings, Rose Mary Woodall, Ronnie Dean Shaw and John Talmadge Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Thomas, Penny Boughton, Keslear Shaw and Bro. William Wade Shaw; and his siblings, Carol Rideout, Brenda Hoop, Lana Kirkendall, Katie Ann Shaw, Bobby Shaw, Glenn Shaw, James Shaw, Russell Shaw and Donnie Shaw. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Sparta United Methodist Church or to the Sparta Cemetery Fund.
