He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lonnie Hughes and Bonnie Jean Alston; and his son Steven Johnson. He is survived by: his sister Mary Helen Hughes of Chicago, Illinois.; and his daughters, Vickie Wells of Alabama, Sonya (Brock Weatherby) and Jessica Johnson of Kosciusko. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, plenty of nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends.
