She was predeceased by: her son Myles Rascon; her father Ray Joseph Acosta Sr.; and her grandparents, Westley John Acosta, Sylvia Arnondin Acosta, Frederick Peter Falgoust and Earline Marie Creppel Falgoust.

She is survived by: her mother Orelia Cecelia Acosta (Cookie); her daughters, Amanda Woods Short, Dana Rascon and Denise Rascon; and her siblings, Andria C. Acosta and Ray Joseph Acosta Jr.. She is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren, many cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
