It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gail Morris of Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Durie "Judy" Baughtman and JD Williamson; her uncles, Jerry, Narie and Thomas Baughtman; her sister Jeanie Newcomb Goodwin; and her grandson George Richard "Trey" Morris III.
She is survived by: her husband George Richard Morris Sr.; her siblings, Delores Sebren of Richland, Gay Stacey (Bill) of Columbia, SC and Thomas "Burt" Kirby; her children, George Richard "Rick" Morris Jr. of Byram, Michael Wayne Megehee (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA, Richard "Elliott" Morris of Dallas, TX and Angel Marie Laird of Pearl; her stepdaughter Mary Passons (Jerry) of Jackson; and her grandson Chance Passons of Byram. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
