With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret L. Dykes (Jackson, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alnie and Eva Ellzey Johnson; and her husband Lynn E. Dykes. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Dykes Sistunk (Dale) of Pearl, Marty E. Dykes (Sheila) of Brandon and Andy E. Dykes (Michelle) of Byram; her grandchildren, April L. Dykes, Brittany Blanton (Elijah), Blake Beane, Clint Sistrunk (Paulina), Carson Sistrunk, Hunter Sistrunk, Savannah Hicks (Ryan) and Reggie Dykes; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Orr, Sully Blanton, Memphis Hicks and Sonorah Hicks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lakewood Memorial Park-South Beginning (430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS 39212). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lakewood Memorial Park-South (430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS 39212).
