It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rose McAllister of Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ray Carriger and Ruby Aerro Dutton Carriger; her husband Donald Corliss McAllister; her daughters, Judy Lynn Lunquist and Donna Jo McAllister; and her sisters, Delores Hammer and Helen Becker.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Stoppelman (Scott) of Washington, Carroll Taylor (Lowell) of Vancleave, Ronald McAllister of Washington, Juanita Malone (Kevin) of Washington, Archie McAllister of New Jersey, Rita Trotter (David) of Washington and Darrell McAllister of New Jersey; and her sisters, Joyce Kokesh and Velma Tuschoff. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
