He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Dean Newton and Isabel Marion Conkey Newton; his wife Mickey Murphy Newton; and his brother Larry D. Newton. He is survived by: his children, David Newton (Anne) and Linda Brown; and his grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica), Kyle (Emily), Reid Newton (Clara Ward) and Lindsey Brown. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
