She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pierce Stringer and Lavern Scoggins Stringer. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Todd Thornton (Lisa Thornton) and Jeremy Brent Thornton (Heather Thornton); and her grandchildren, Tiffany Thornton, Christie Dye, Jessica Elliot, Hannah Thornton, Pierce Thornton and William Thornton. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
