It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Linda Waddell Vicente of Jackson, Mississippi, born in Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Stokes and Alma Vaughn Stokes; her former husband Marlon Thomas; her granddaughter Hayley Maultsby; her great grandchild Aiden Sullivan; her sister Shirley Mock (Hill); her nephew Andy Mock; and her spouse Junlee Rick Richey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Alley (Timmy) of Biloxi and Lisa Maultsby (Steve) of Vancleave; her stepdaughter Dena Richey Bright; her grandchildren, Matthew Alley (Adriana), Chad Alley, James Sullivan (Alicia), Brandilyn Eskelinen (Seth) and Ky Maultsby; and her great grandchildren, Garrett Alley, McKenzie Alley, Grayson Alley, Julian Sullivan, Liam Sullivan, Madolynn Sullivan, Blakelyn Eskelinen and Brooke Eskelinen.
