She was predeceased by: her parents, William Linwood and Annie Zell Pollan Hightower; her husband Ben Chapman, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Annie Charles Fondren, Gove Hightower and Linwood Hightower.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Diane Burchfield of Itta Bena, MS and Patsy Jean Kelly (Phil) of Itta Bena, MS; and her sister Virginia Lou Andrews of Bedford, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
