With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommie Celeste Dowdle White of Hurley, Mississippi, born in Scott, Mississippi, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Starling and Eula Jones; her former husband Herbert Dowdle; her husband S. R. White; her son Keith Dowdle; and her brother Clinton Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Bradshaw (Richard) and Gregg Dowdle (Pam); her grandchildren, Richard Bradshaw Jr. (Theresa), Loyd Bradshaw (Regina), Matthew Bradshaw (Calla), Alise Edmonson (Gerald), Aaron Dowdle (Amanda), Leigh Ann Dowdle, Tommy Dowdle and Kerri Dowdle; and her sisters, Ann Marie Brown (Clyde) and Rachel Wright. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Safe Harbor United Methodist Church Debt Reduction Fund, 12000 Hwy 63, Moss Point, MS 39562.
