It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Kirkland of Hurley, Mississippi, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Homer Ray Kirkland; and his grandmother Lela Pope. He is survived by: his mother Glenda Kirkland; his uncles, Bill Pope (Dianne) and Pete Pope; and his brothers, Mark and Tommy Brooks (Michelle).
Family is asking for in lieu of flowers memorials to be made to Steven's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of him.
