With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gibson (Hurley, Mississippi), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on September 17, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Bruce and Dixie Mae Gibson (Rodgers); and his siblings, Bill, J. B. and Hazel Martinez Vaughn.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Hal Vaughn; and his children, Mary Flint (Gibson), Sherry Fowler (Gibson) and John William Gibson, Jr.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
