She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gottschalk and Anna Reese Gottschalk; and her brother James Gottschalk. She is survived by: her husband David A. Gann of Houlka; her children, Mark Gann (Angel) of Houlka, Bart Gann (Cecelia) of Houlka, Brian Gann (Kim) of Houlka and Jennifer Higginbotham (David) of Houlka; her grandchildren, Hannah Eastman (Thompson), Becky Brown (Charles), Wesley Higginbotham (Alexis), John Gann (Jerilyn), Kathryn Higginbotham, Lee Alexander (Sara), Jacob Petty, Jenell Petty, Lewis Petty, Dillon Petty, Tammy Lindsey (John), Christi Hamblin (Hunter), Jennifer Holloway and Candice McVay (Michael); and her close friends, Barbara Norman and Flo Leach. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
