He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hunt, Sr. and Callie Mae Faulkner-Hunt; his siblings, Walter Hunt, Jr., Jerry L. Hunt and Marcella Martin; and his niece Lizzie Ruth Lawrence.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Howard Hunt of Ripley, MS, Rickie Walls (Gena) of Springfield, IL, Reggie Walls (Denise) of Aurora, IL, Terry Lawrence of Holly Springs, MS, Gerald Lawrence of Holly Springs, MS, Franklin Lawrence of Holly Springs, MS, Renee Grimes (John) of Sugar Grove, IL, Sondra Gipson of Holly Springs, MS and Lahoma Byers of Holly Springs, MS; and his sister-in-law Earnestine West of Aurora, IL. He is also survived by great-nephews, great-nieces, extended family and friends.
