She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dickey and Mattie Dickey; her husband Sidney South; and her siblings, Talmadge, Doke Dickey, Fallene Malone (Percy), Birdie Morris (Bob) and Uvee Morgan (Doug).
She is survived by: her children, John South, Timothy South and Eve South of Southaven, MS.; her grandchildren, Holly Pennington (Kenny) and Stacey Merritt (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Cameron Watson and Robert Pennington.
