She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Blackwell; her daughter Deborah Shemper; and her parents, James Roby and Ada Roby. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Blackwell of Hattiesburg and Daniel Blackwell of Southaven. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
