He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence E. Hughes and Willie Mae Hughes (Smith); his wife Nancy; and his sons, Thomas Farr Hughes of Clinton, MS, David Clarence Hughes of Knoxville, TN. and William, Jr. of Gulfport, MS. He was also cherished by two sons, and five grandchildren.
