He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Jerome and Emma Jerome; his wife Juliette; his son Thomas Jerome, Jr. (Sonny); and his brother Francis Jerome.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Jerome (Tina) of Brooklyn, MS, Priscilla Wheat (Dale) of Brooklyn, MS, Julie Landrum (OD) of Hattiesburg, MS, Frances Boone (Tommy) of Carnes and Tommie Kirkpatrick (David) of Brooklyn, MS; his brother Percy "Ikey" Jerome (Bobbie Nell) of Wesson, MS; his grandchildren, Dee Wheat (Melissa) of Hattiesburg, Jason Wheat (Sofia) of Brooklyn, Joseph Wheat (Kym) of Slidell, LA, Eric Boone (Jackie) of Austin, TX, Matthew Boone (Cara) of Perkinston, Sharla Kemp (Ronnie) of Petal, Nicholas Kirkpatrick (Jessica) of Petal, Michala Jerome of Charlotte, NC, Rachel Jerome of Hattiesburg and Hunter Jerome of Colorado Springs, CO; and his great grandchildren, Josiah, Elizabeth Wheat of Brooklyn, Emy, Addy Boone of Austin, TX, Caroline Boone of Perkinston, Laken, Emma Kemp of Petal, Jett and Cash Kirkpatrick of Petal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
