He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Hinton and Bodie Hinton; and his brother-in-law John Bivins. He is survived by: his siblings, Skip Hinton (Barbara) and Cindy Hinton Bivins; his nephews, Hal Hinton, Jeff Bivins (Louisa) and Ben Bivins; his great-nephews, Trey Hinton (Emma), Noah Hinton, Lucas Bivins, Fred and George Harwell; his niece Elizabeth Hinton Harwell (Russell); his great-nieces, Libby Harwell Mecklenborg (Ben) and Isabel Bivins; and also Hayden Hinton.
