She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Palmiter and Carrie Palmiter; her husband John Ray Jordan; and her sister Madelyn Palmiter Royal. She is survived by: her children, John Frederick Jordan, Richard Keith Jordan (Tracy) and Rose Jordan West (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jared Brandon West, Jason Patrick West, Emily Jordan Potter (Timothy), Maggie Jordan Williams (Kweisi), Elliana Monique Jordan, Anne Bullock Jordan and John Cavenagh Jordan; and her great grandchild Mateo Malik Williams.
In lieu of flowers, Dr. Jordan requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 53 Perimeter Center E Suite 100, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.
