She was predeceased by: her mother Saranelle Smith Rowell; and her brother Ralph Kenneth Rowell. She is survived by: her father Ralph Bodie Rowell; her daughter Melissa Leigh Smith (Coy); her granddaughters, Madeleine Elise Smith and Layla Isabel Smith; and her brother Stanley Mark Rowell (Catherine). She is also survived by her family and friends.
