He is survived by: his wife Emily Devine Rust; his children, Erin R. Munton (Owen) of Hattiesburg and Adam M. Rust (Keri) of Brownsville, TN; his grandsons, Andrew and Samuel Munton; and his siblings, William W. Rust (Marcelle) of Virginia Beach, VA and Kathleen R. Bell (Bob) of Arlington, VA. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be given in Mr. Richard Rust's name to Sacred Heart Catholic School in Hattiesburg, MS.
