It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Wayne Underwood of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, P. W. "Bear" Underwood and Deedy Underwood. He is survived by: his brother George Underwood of Sumrall, MS. He is also survived by three cousins.

Memorials may be made to Southern Miss. Athletic Foundation oar Kensington Woods Church of Christ.
