Nicholas Kyle Everette Obituary
Nicholas "Niko" Kyle Everette, 32, of Hattiesburg passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Brewsky's in Hattiesburg, MS.
Nichols Kyle Everette was born March 16, 1990 in Hattiesburg MS. He graduated from OGHS and was drum captain for Oak Grove HS Band. Nick (Niko) was surrounded by music his entire life. He began playing drums at the age of 5 and also played guitar and piano. He loved to draw, paint and work with his hands to create. He enjoyed teaching children how to play drums. He started playing in bands at age 15 including Stigma, Drive By Junkies, Charlie Sheen Overdose, Boom Chicka Booms, TBird Mac, Klass Kings, Brandon Lowery, Sam Donald and of course Whiskey Kiss. Nick also enjoyed being a DJ (DJ Niko). He loved his life, family, friends and playing music. He spread love abundantly and was surrounded by love his entire life. He will be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnny C. Everette and Shirley Everette; his maternal grandparents, John E. Lippitt, Jr. and Betty Nell Lippitt; his uncle, Eddie Lippitt; and his aunt, Nell Sneed.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Marcy Everette of Hattiesburg; his fiancé, Haley Byrd of Richton; his aunts, Christy Miller (Steve) of Tupelo and Cathy Davis of Tupelo; his uncle, Michael Freeman of Memphis, TN; his cousins, Chip Gibson, Brandie Clemons, Nichole Irmer, Leslie Chrestman, Katy Falls, Sidney Miller, and Brittany Seymore; and a host of extended family and friends.
