We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2022, at the age of 93, Martin Hathorn Baker Sr. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Louisville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanna Alford of Columbia; his children, Suzanna Baker (Suzie) of Jackson, Martin H. Baker, Jr. (Garlyn) of Hattiesburg, Virginia Baker Saslow (John) of North Carolina and Carolyn Baker Stewart (Matt) of Alabama; his grandchildren, John Baker Saslow, Everett FitzSimmons Saslow and Mary Charles Stewart; and his sisters-in-law, Julia Boren Baker of Oxford and Virginia Alford Warren (Richard) of Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
