She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Wallace James and Marjorie McInnis Harrell-Johnson; her brother Wallace J. Harrell Jr.; her stepdaughter Nancy Turner Essex; and her grandson Joe F. Strahan Jr. (Trey).
She is survived by: her husband George A Turner; her brother Prentiss G. Harrell; her children, Joe F. Strahan (Kasia), Jonathan D. Strahan (Janna) and Tianay L. Carpenter (Keith); her stepsons, Larry Turner, Doug Turner (Kim) and Robert Turner (Jane); and her son-in-law Steven Essex (Michelle). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren plus their spouses and 23 great grandchildren.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to Romania Reborn, Samaritan's Purse or World Vision via cash or check.
