She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Lawson and Mary Ellen Prince; her husband George J. Jackson Sr.; her sisters, Lorraine Prince and Marsha Prince (Hales); and her grandmother Lulu C. Knight.

She is survived by: her son George James Jackson Jr. of Fort Worth Texas; her granddaughter Ashley Marisa Jackson of McKinney, Texas; her sisters, Chloe Davis of Laurel, Mississippi and Rosemary Rice of Laurel, Mississippi; and her uncles, Charles Prince of Warren and Thomas Prince of Cleveland, Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
