He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Mabel Prine (Bryant); and his siblings, Jimmy Roy, Isaac Marion and Alice Hinds.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Prine (Shotts); his son John Mark Prine (Judy) of Rawls Springs; his grandchildren, John Joshua Caleb Prine of Brandon and Mary Grace Prine of Rawls Springs; and his sister Lovis Mae Hicks (Tiny) of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
