He is survived by: his wife Peggy Shelton Stewart of Hattiesburg, MS; his children, James B. "Benjie" Stewart, III of Walker, LA, Donald Joseph "Jody" Stewart of Hattiesburg, MS and Marcia Stewart Miley (Rick) of Purvis, MS; and his siblings, Lillie Bounds of Hattiesburg, MS and Victor Stewart of Hattiesburg, MS. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
