He is survived by: his sons, Hal and Jeff (Tina); his grandson Jeff (Tina); his great grandchildren, Matthew (Emily), Aiden Knight, Carter Broome, Michael (Allison), Natalie and Katelyn; and his grandsons, Matthew, Michael Broome, Ken Laird, Fred Burge, Dr. Bobby Moore and Mike Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Homes of Hope, or Hardy Street Baptist Church.
