She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Troy Scott; and her parents, Lloyd C. Goudeau and Katherine Schliegelmeyer Goudeau. She is survived by: her daughter Jo Ellen Tappan (Scott); her grandson Shannon Paul Tappan; and her husband Scott Plumbing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Divine Grace Baptist Church, 5570 Red Creek Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560.
